Works on Paper

Works on Paper

For the very first time, Virág Judit Gallery holds a thematic auction focusing exclusively on works on paper. The selected stand-out pieces provide a complete cross-section of the history of Hungarian Art. The Art of the 19th Century is represented by the works of Károly Lotz, Bertalan Székely, and László Mednyánszky, while pieces by József Rippl-Rónai, Béla Czóbel and Lajos Kassák are also present. Several rare specialties are entered, including the 1920s neoclassic graphic works of Erzsébet Korb, Lajos Fonó and Lajos Nándor Varga who once belonged to the so-called Arcadian Circle.
