14th Post-war and Contemporary Sale

14th Post-war and Contemporary Sale

One of the highlights of the post-war and contemporary auction is Ilona Keserü‘s piece of art Quotes for Korniss, painted in 1990, which is one of the key works of the Hungarian neo-avant-garde era. The painting is an homage to the great master.

Imre Bak was deeply interested in the nature and possibilities of pictorial forms and colors. His piece, Figure, an artwork made of geometric abstract shapes, is one of the masterpieces of the 1970s.

Márton Nemes‘s works are already well-known in the contemporary art scene in London. One of his art pieces will now be auctioned for the first time at the Virág Judit Gallery. His masterpiece,  The Police painting series, was selected for a group exhibition among five recent graduates from Europe’s leading art institutions.

The auction material will also include outstanding and high-quality works by István Nádler, János Fajó, Endre Rozsda and Sándor Pinczehelyi.
