The two highlights of our upcoming Christmas Sale are masterpieces by József Rippl-Rónai and János Vaszary that have not been seen for almost 100 years. The auction material, which includes classical and modern works, include József Egry’s work of Lake Balaton, József Koszta’s masterpiece from his early period, Parisian windows of 1911, and Izsák Perlmutter’s painting Gardeners in the Castle Park. We also present two large-scale landscapes of the Tatra Mountains by László Mednyánszky, as well as a decorative, brilliant painting depicting Viareggio’s seaside bazaars by János Vaszary. Armand Schönberger’s Cubist castle picture, Vilmos Aba-Novák, István Szőnyi and Jenő Medveczky’s works of outstanding quality will also go under the hammer.
