73rd Autumn Sale
Highlights of our autumn auction includes an early large-scale painting of Beilen in the Netherlands by László Paál, a grandiose scenery by László Mednyánszky, and masterpieces by Lajos Gulácsy, József Rippl-Rónai and Lajos Tihanyi. László Moholy-Nagy is the most significant Hungarian-born artist of the international Avant-garde, and it is a real treasure when one of his works appears at auction. The „Composition with Three Circles”, which is now under the hammer, was made in 1946, presumably in connection with a kinetic sculptural work designed for constant movement.
In addition to the classics, other exceptional works from the post-war period as well as artists such as István Nádler, Endre Rozsda and Tamás Hencze.
