3rd Zsolnay Auction

The gallery hosted the world’s first thematic Zsolnay auction in 2017, which was a tremendous success, followed by a year later the 2nd Zsolnay auction. This year’s auction will also be accompanied by outstanding national and international interest. The Zsolnay secessionist ceramics from 1900 to 1914 have won every possible award at prestigious international exhibitions, their triumphs continue to this day, and still among the most expensive and in high demand decorative arts in the world. The 70 pieces of ceramic collection now up for sale, includes some of the well-known Secessionist and Art Deco vases, flowerpots and decorative plates from such notable designers as Sándor Apáti Abt, Henrik Dařilek, Géza Nikelszky and Mihály Kapás Nagy.
